Beth Ingram Therapy Services provides the opportunity for Master's
Level Graduate Students to complete their extern/internships in one of
our six clinical settings.
Each one of our externs are paired with a therapist, based on availability, in which they follow the therapist's schedule as outlined for that day/week. The day can range to a variety of settings, such as traveling to day cares, homes and in-office patients. The day may also encompass time in participating in one of our programs.
The responsibility of each extern is based upon the skill level and knowledge which is inclusive of writing evaluations, therapy notes, etc. We encourage all of our externs to conduct a 'project' in which they research a therapy disorder or another specific area of interest to learn and understand more about it.
